HAMPTON, Va. (Aug. 29, 2025) … The Hampton University cross country teams will kick off their 2025 seasons on Saturday morning in the Richmond Spider Alumni College Open in Mechanicsville at Pole Green Park.
The men's event will be a 6k race that will begin at 9:15 a.m., while the women's event will be a 4k race that will begin at 9:50 a.m. A total of 15 schools have entered into the meet.
Running for the women will be:
Shari Brown,
Kylee King,
Angel Moultrie,
Alannah Runge,
Avah Savage,
Mekayla Wilson and
Saibu Yetunde. On the men's side, running for the Pirates will be:
Mohammed Al-YaFee,
Dominic Bassey,
Daniel Danner, Jordan Drones and Khalil Hamid.
