2006 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Appeared in seven games for the Pirates, starting one… completed 37-of-68 passes on the year for 372 yards with three touchdowns and one interception… came off the bench in the season opener against Grambling State to lead the Pirates to a come-from-behind victory… in that contest he tossed a 9-yard touchdown pass to Onrea Jones with 1:10 remaining to tie the game at 20, and he followed that with a 10-yard touchdown pass in overtime that proved to be the winning score… finished the game 6-of-16 for 89 yards, two touchdowns and an interception… made his first career start on homecoming against Winston-Salem State, completing 17-of-27 pass attempts for 144 yards, including a 12-yard first quarter touchdown strike.

2005 (WEST VIRGINIA)
Redshirted during the 2005 season… completed 7-of-13 passes for 101 yards and a 7-yard touchdown in the Mountaineers’ spring game.

LANDSTOWN HIGH SCHOOL
Piloted Coach Chris Beatty’s team to a Beach District and Eastern Region championship… ranked in the Top 10 all-time in the state in career, single season and single game passing yards and touchdowns… led the Eagles to the group 3A Division 6 runner-up finish with a mark of 13-1 in 2003, setting a state record with 46 touchdown passes… tied Virginia prep record with 36 completions in a game… 6,168 career passing yards and 65 touchdowns… totaled 739 yards passing and 10 touchdowns in Landstown’s four playoff games… Tidewater Player of the Year… all-state, all-district and all-region… SuperPrep Virginia Top 15… PrepStars mid-Atlantic all-region… Rivals.com 3-star rating… also lettered in basketball… spent the 2004 season at Hargrave Military Academy where he guided the team to a record of 7-3.
