2006 • JUNIOR SEASON
Played in all 12 games on the year… recorded 17 total tackles, including 10 solo stops, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble… began the year with four tackles, a half a sack and a pass breakup against Grambling State in the MEAC-SWAC Challenge… registered his first career solo sack in week two versus Howard… ended the season with a solid performance against New Hampshire in the NCAA playoffs where he totaled four tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and a pass breakup… his forced fumble led to a field goal that gave the Pirates a 38-34 lead with 8:59 to play.

2005 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Appeared in 11 of the 12 games… registered nine tackles (5 solo) and three pass breakups on the year… had two tackles in games against Howard, Delaware State, Gardner-Webb and Savannah State… broke up two passes versus Morgan State in the Urban League Classic.

2004 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Saw action in six games for the Pirates, and drew the starting job in two contests … Finished the year tied for fifth in pass breakups with six … Forced one fumble on the year, and recovered one as well … Collected 16 total tackles for the season, including 11 solo stops … Had one of his best games of the season at Delaware State where he registered five tackles, including four solo, and one pass breakup … Had a big contribution in the “Battle of the Bay” against Norfolk State with three tackles (two solo) and two pass deflections … In that same game, Preston forced and recovered a fumble.

FRANKLIN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL
Led the Eagles and head coach Billy Miles to two District Championship titles, including a 10-1 overall record in 2003 … Had an outstanding senior season where he recorded 96 tackles, nine interceptions (five returned for touchdowns), 13 pass deflections, one fumble return for touchdown and five kickoff returns for touchdowns … Even managed to play offense while collecting 39 receptions for 580 yards … All-State cornerback and kick returner … Voted as a two-time All-Western Valley District selection at cornerback … Two-time All-Northwest Region … Named as the 2004 All-Timesland Male Athlete of the Year … Two-time All-Timesland cornerback … Also picked up varsity letters in basketball, assisting the Eagles in claiming the 2004 District Championship … District MVP and all All-Region selection in basketball.
