Ran a 4:51.65 in the 1,500-meter run at the Raleigh Relays to finish 15th, while also helping the 4x800-meter relay team to a tie for 10th at 9:16.24… finished 24th in the 5,000-meter run at the Colonial Relays with a 19:31.62… ran a 19:30.73 in the 5,000-meter run at the Hampton Relays to finish third… finished 12th in the 800-meter run at the Morgan State Legacy Meet with a time of 2:20.21… finished seventh in the 5,000-meter run at the MEAC Championships with a 19:15.64 and 15th in 1,500-meter run with a 5:08.96.

Ran an 11:18.17 in the 3,000-meter run at the inaugural Hampton University Invitational, finishing sixth… finished 10th in the 3,000-meter run at the Christopher Newport Captain’s Invitational, running an 11:09.45… ran a 5:27.28 in the mile run at the Vince Brown Invitational, finishing seventh… finishing 15th in the 3,000-meter run (11:45.60) and 16th in the mile run (5:33.68) at the MEAC Championships.
2008 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON
All-MEAC selection… finished 29th in the season-opening UMES Cappy Anderson Invitational after running a 20:14.07 on the 5K course… ran a 20:17.88 in the Norfolk State Invitational to finish 10th… ran a season-best 18:51.83 in the UMES Hawk Challenge to finish sixth… finished 13th in the MEAC Championships after running a 19:02.80… ran a 26:01.80 at the NCAA Southeast Regional to finish 221st.

Finished 12th in the 800-meter run at the Wake Forest Open with a time of 2:14.21… also finished 22nd in the Wake Forest Open’s 1,500-meter run (4:49.77)… finished 39th in the 1,500-meter run at the Raleigh Relays, running a 5:05.58… won the 1,500-meter run at North Carolina A&T during the Murray Neely Invitational with a time of 4:49.19… finished second in the 1,500-meter run (4:45.28) and third in the 3,000-meter run (19:15.42) at the Morgan State Legacy Meet… finished seventh in the 800-meter run at the MEAC Championships with a time of 2:23.12… came in fourth in the MEAC 1,500-meter run, running a 4:43.29… also finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run with a 19:23.88.

Second Team All-MEAC in the 3,000-meter run and the distance medley… finished sixth in the 3,000-meter run at the University of Maryland Terrapin Invitational, running a 10:25.77… came in 33rd in the 800-meter run at the Armory New Balance Collegiate Invitational with a time of 2:19.21… finished 29th in the mile run at the same event, running a 5:13.25… came in ninth at the MEAC Championships with a time of 2:19.69… also finished sixth in the mile run at the MEAC meet, running a 5:14.21… finished second at the MEAC 3,000-meter run with a 10:40.86.
2007 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON
Ran a 22:56.35 in the NCAA Southeast Regional in Louisville, Ky., finishing 125th… All-MEAC selection… two-time MEAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week (Sept. 19 and Sept. 26)… finished second in the Maryland-Eastern Shore Lid-Lifter Invite, running a time of 19:03.43… paced the Lady Pirates at the Raleigh Invitational, finishing sixth with a 19:21.00 to help the team finish third… won the Maryland-Eastern Shore Cappy Anderson Invite with a 18:07.09, helping the Lady Pirates place second in the event… Smith’s time at the Cappy Anderson was the top time in the MEAC all season… 39th-place time of 23:29.30 was Hampton’s best at the William & Mary Colonial Inter-Regional Cross Country Challenge… finished eighth at the William & Mary Tribe Open, running a 23:03.00… finished fifth in the MEAC Championships at 19:05.90, helping the Lady Pirates finish second in the team standings behind Maryland-Eastern Shore… posted the best time for Hampton in six of the seven meets throughout the season.
