LADY PIRATES CONTINUE MEAC PLAY

Opponent Websites: Morgan State | Delaware State

HAMPTON, Va. –
The Hampton University volleyball team will continue Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play this weekend, welcoming Morgan State to Holland Hall on Friday at 6 p.m., before heading to Dover, Del. on Sunday to face Delaware State at 3 p.m.

Morgan State leads the all-time series with the Lady Pirates 30-2, with Hampton's only two victories coming in 2008. The Lady Bears swept both of last year's meetings, 3-0 and 3-1, forcing the tiebreaker scenario that left Hampton out of the MEAC Tournament.

The Lady Pirates (6-18, 2-2 MEAC) are 30-11 all-time against Delaware State, though the Lady Hornets have won the last eight meetings – including a 3-1 decision at Holland Hall back on Oct. 8. Hampton last defeated Delaware State on Oct. 20, 2005.
