Jermaine Marrow was named late Monday afternoon as BOXTOROW National HBCU Player of the Week for the week ending January 13.
On the week he averaged 25.5 points, eight assists, three rebounds and three steals in helping lead Hampton to victories over Charleston Southern and UNC Asheville last week. He was 12-of-21 from the field including 7-of-11 from three-point range in the victory over Charleston Southern for 35 points. Two days later he recorded his first double-double with 16 points and 10 assists against UNC Asheville.
Marrow is averaging 25.1 points per game which is second in the Big South and sixth in the nation.
