HAMPTON, Va. (11/9/23) – The Lady Pirates will compete in their last three games of the season this upcoming weekend. They host Charleston in their last two CAA matches on Saturday and Sunday, and travel to Norfolk State on Monday afternoon.

Monday, November 13th, 12 pm – Hampton at. Norfolk State
Hampton took a set in game 1 at Campbell last weekend (1-3), and dropped the second game in straight sets.

Game 1
The Lady Pirates posted their most kills in a match this season with 37 and
Kristine Teivane led Hampton with a season-high of 11.
Maria Eduarda Rodrigues and
Madison Clark each had six.
Nadja Bulatovic posted 19 assists, her most ever in a Lady Pirate uniform. Bulatovic notched two aces and Teivane had one.
Kylah Hunter achieved a career-high in digs on the day with 18. Teivane recorded a season-high 13, and Clark had nine. Hampton led Campbell in blocks (6-5), anchored by
Rickelle Wescott's season-high of four. Clark notched three and Rodrigues two.

Teivane led the Lady Pirates in kills during the match with six.
Madison Clark had five and
Rickelle Wescott four.
Kalyn Pierre posted the most assists (nine), followed by teammate
Nadja Bulatovic with six. Hampton tallied four aces on the day, two by
Teivane and one from Clark and Bulatovic.
Clark notched 11 digs for the Lady Pirates, while Kylah Hunter had seven and Teivane five. Maria Eduarda Rodrigues notched three blocks and Tyller Williams and Wescott had two each.

Madison Clark leads the Lady Pirates in kills with 82 on the season.
Maria Eduarda Rodrigues follows at 78 while freshman
Rhisen Davis has 48.
Kalyn Pierre continues to lead Hampton in setting duties tallying 115 assists while
Nadja Bulatovic follows with 91.
Rickelle Wescott has the most aces with 16.
On the defensive side of the net, libero
Kylah Hunter and
Madison Clark each had 20-plus digs last weekend, to total 145 and 96 respectively. Rodrigues has 67 and Davis 66. Wescott has provided the most blocks for the Lady Pirates with 34 (six last weekend) followed by
Tyller Williams with 21.
Scouting the Cougars (12-15, 9-7 CAA)
Jason Kepner is in his 17th season at the helm of the Charleston Cougars. He has led the team to four conference championships (3 SoCon, 1 CAA) and five NCAA tournament appearances.
Katie Lanz leads the Seahawks in kills with 159. Teammate Caitlyn Callahan follows next with 146. Belle Schall is the main setter, with 431 assists although Morgan Galligan has played there as well with 341. Jadyn Barry has posted 239 digs on the defensive side of the net which is 57 more than her next teammate. Grace Melnick and Caitlyn Callahan have 57 blocks each.
The Lady Pirates are 0-1 in their only contest against the Cougars all-time.
Scouting the Spartans (8-12, 7-6 MEAC)
Kathy Bullock is spending her fifth season as coach of the Norfolk State Spartans. The team posted their best MEAC record (7-7) last year, since 2013.
Gabrielle Gilbert leads the Spartans in kills this season with 257. Shonte Seale is next with 205. Sydney McCree has posted more than 500 more assists then her next closest teammate with 575. On defense, Fabiana Mucciola has notched 210 digs and teammate Sydney McCree with 133. Adlene Jideofor has 48 blocks and Grace Smith 42.
The Lady Pirates lead the all-time series 20-13 and have one the last eight straight.
