HAMPTON, Va. (Nov. 14, 2024) … The Hampton University volleyball team will conclude their 2024 season over this weekend heading to Williamsburg to face the Tribe of William & Mary. Match one will be on Friday at 6:00 p.m., while the season finale will be Sunday at 1:00p.m. inside Kaplan Arena.
Last weekend, Hampton dropped two matches to league-leading Delaware at Holland Hall. Senior
Madison Clark had 15 kills and 15 digs in the two matches with a pair of service aces to lead the Lady Pirates.
Abena Absomani-Martin recorded season highs in aces (4) and digs (8) in the second match against Delaware.
The Tribe enter off a road series sweep of Elon last weekend, winning 3-2 on Saturday and 3-1 on Sunday. It marked the Tribe's first road victories of the season and their second road sweep of a conference opponent since 2013. Katherine Arnason had 17 kills in match one and 15 more in match two with Elon to lead the Tribe.
W&M is coached by Ryan Adams who is in his second season with the Tribe.
