2011 R-FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in seven games for the Pirates, making seven starts… had 27 tackles on the season, including eight solo stops… had a season-high five tackles (two solo) each against Princeton (Oct. 8) and Delaware State (Nov. 12)… returned a fumble 12 yards against North Carolina Central on Oct. 22… also had his lone sack of the season in that game… had 3.0 tackles for a loss of 12 yards on the season.

2010 FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in the Pirates’ season opener at Central Michigan before redshirting.

MILFORD ACADEMY
Played football all four years… named all-league in football as a freshman… Eastern Pa. All-State as a junior, as well as First Team All-Conference… had 67 tackles and 13 sacks as a senior… also played basketball as a freshman and sophomore… played baseball as a freshman, sophomore and junior… named all-league in baseball as a freshman.

PERSONAL
Born Nov. 8, 1989… son of Jill and James Dougherty… has one brother, Tim (18), and one sister, Rose (16)… was featured in the Patriot News… majoring in sports management… wants to play professional football and become an athletic trainer.
