2005 • JUNIOR SEASON
Saw action in 11 of the 12 games on the year... completed 54-of-109 pass attempts for 743 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions… came off the bench to give the Pirate offense a jump start on several occasions… entered the game in the first quarter at Howard and helped guide the Pirates back from a 12-0 deficit… during that contest he completed 15-of-22 passes for 83 yards… at one point he completed 9-of-10 passes during two HU scoring drives… led the Pirates to another come-from-behind win over 19th ranked South Carolina State… with Hampton trailing 10-0 he came in and threw a 52-yard touchdown strike to Marquay McDaniel on his first play from scrimmage… came back less than four minutes later and hit McDaniel for what proved to be the game winning touchdown… broke the Hampton record for pass completions in a playoff game by going 15-of-27 for 221 yards and a touchdown versus Richmond… recorded his other touchdown pass on a 15-yard toss to Ernie Lomax in the regular season finale against Savannah State.

2004 • SOPHOMORE SEASON (KENT STATE)
Began the season as the top signal caller, starting in the opener at Iowa… completed 18-of-32 passes for 114 yards against the Hawkeyes… was 23-of-44 for 180 yards with one touchdown and one interception on the year… finished the season at the wide receiver position where he caught six passes for 71 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown reception against Miami (Ohio).

2003 • FRESHMAN SEASON (KENT STATE)
Appeared in all 12 games for the Golden Flashes, seeing time at both quarterback and wide receiver… completed 7-of-18 passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns while under center… also rushed for 92 yards on 20 carries for an average of 4.6 yards per carry… as a receiver, hauled in 18 receptions for 194 yards and two touchdowns.

MEADE HIGH SCHOOL
Passed for 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior at Meade High School… named to the all-state team as a safety after recording three interceptions and forcing seven fumbles… earned All-Metro honors on both sides of the ball and was a four-time All-County selection at quarterback… as a senior led the Mustangs to a 10-2 record and a trip to the state semifinals… finished his career with more than 4,000 yards passing, 41 touchdown passes and 15 rushing touchdowns.

PERSONAL
Born September 7, 1983… son of Andrew Sr. and Clarice Smith… older brother Andrew, Jr. played safety at the University of Maryland.
