2005 JUNIOR SEASON
Saw action in seven games in his first season with the Pirates, playing as a reserve defensive back and on special teams… recorded 11 total stops on the year with eight assists and three solo tackle… had a season-high five tackles (3 solo) versus Florida A&M… had another big game at Gardner-Webb with a fumble recovery and an interception which he returned for 37 yards… both turnovers led to touchdowns for the HU offense… finished with three tackles at Gardner-Webb and at Norfolk State.

A four-time all-conference selection at quarterback and defensive back… Gazette Prep All-Star… Ranked #3 on Harold’s Hitting Team In California… Street & Smith’s Rising Star… passed for more than 1,600 yards, ran for 350 yards and accounted for 16 total touchdowns as a senior… on the defensive side of the ball, registered 63 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown… had six tackles and one interception return for a touchdown to earn MVP honors at the Shrine Game.

Born in South Central, Los Angeles… son of LaDonna Lewis… majoring in psychology… plans on entering the ministry after football.
